SI5347B-A-GMR

The SI5347B-A-GMR is a clock generator developed by Silicon Labs and is a part of the ClockBuilder Pro Family. The PLL is then used to multiply the reference frequency to the desired output frequency. The PLL also provides the ability to adjust the output frequency by adjusting the VCXO frequency control Digital-to-Analog Convert (DAC) setting and the PLL feedback loop Digital-to-Analog Convert (DAC) setting. The PLL feedback loop DAC setting also provides the ability to reduce jitter by using the jitter attenuator feature.The SI5347B-A-GMR supports various clock outputs ranging from 31 kHz to 648 MHz. It supports fractional-N or integer-N frequency synthesis and provides up to six differential clock outputs. It has an on-chip programmable power-on-reset circuit and a 128-tap voltage controlled crystal oscillator. The PLL has a differential input and output, and includes an on-chip voltage-controlled oscillator (VCO). The VCO is used to provide accurate frequency control and improves jitter performance. The SI5347B-A-GMR also supports SSC (Spread Spectrum Clock) output.The SI5347B-A-GMR is controlled via an I2C/SMBUS serial data port and a separate 3-wire serial interface for VCO tuning.
