The SI5347D-B-GMR is a synthesized clock generator offering revolutionized phase-noise performance, enabling new high-performance products in a wide variety of RF application fields. It features a wide range of frequencies, highly flexible programming options, plus external crystal oscillator support, and offers reference clock multiplication up to 1Ghz. The high-speed synthesized clock generator\'s versatile switching layer technology, as well as its fractional-N frequency synthesizing techniques, eliminate the need for multiple interfering boards, opening up new possibilities for high-precision applications.The SI5347D-B-GMR provides the user with a comprehensive line of features such as host controller programming and real-time monitoring. It utilizes an integrated architecture that avoids competing clocks, enabling it to deliver low jitter and improved signal-to-noise ratio performance.The SI5347D-B-GMR starts with an accurate reference clock, sourced either externally or via an integrated crystal oscillator. The clock is then multiplicatively divided, producing multiple sub-Hz reference frequencies. With these reference signals, the SI5347D-B-GMR synthesizes frequency-hopping outputs from one to six independent outputs, all between one Hz and 1Ghz, up to 2GHz.The SI5347D-B-GMR’s Frequency Synthesizing Engine, or FSE, determines the frequency of each output determined by the reference inputs.
