The SI5350A-B08998-GTR is a high-performance, low-jitter clock generator designed to meet the stringent requirements of current high-speed communications, networking, test and measurement, broadcast, and military/aerospace applications. It is available in a surface-mount package compatible with the large variety of digital integrated circuit and active component technologies.

The SI5350A-B08998-GTR delivers one output pair of differential clocks, each with an integrated programmable reference frequency, enabling a wide range of output frequencies with minimal jitter performance. Its high-speed output enables the use of higher-speed SerDes interfaces and multimedia extensions (MME) within a reasonable size, power, and cost.

The SI5350A-B08998-GTR is ideally suited for use in clock synthesizers, PLLs, frequency synthesizers, and other clockand timing related applications. It enables customers to meet the needs of their applications in ways that are not possible with traditional clock solutions.

The SI5350A-B08998-GTR provides two independent clock output pairs, each with an integrated programmable reference frequency. The reference frequency allows for the generation of non-standard ASIC and SerDes device compliances. For exact frequency matching, the reference frequency can be adjusted to ensure that the output frequency is accurate within a specified frequency range.

The frequency of the output clocks is determined by a user-programmable output divider. This divider allows the user to select the output frequency accuracy as determined by the reference frequency. A user-programmable delay line on each output is available for skew adjustment.
