The SI5351A-B05512-GTR is a complete clock generation and distribution IC designed to meet the timing needs of various electronic systems. It is a highly integrated system-on-chip providing unmatched flexibility in frequency output, offering the flexibility to generate both square wave and sine wave outputs from low-power single-ended clock sources. The SI5351A-B05512-GTR is ideal for a wide range of applications such as timing systems for digital audio, television systems, automotive applications, industrial control, and communications systems.

The SI5351A-B05512-GTR includes a 32-bit PLL, two adjustable frequency multipliers, two crystal oscillator circuits and two low-noise linear VCOs. The PLL has been optimized to allow the highest degree of flexibility while still maintaining very high performance. The two low-noise VCOs provide excellent performance across a wide range of clock frequencies. The dual PLLs and multipliers allow a wide range of output frequencies up to 120MHz, allowing the SI5351A-B05512-GTR to be used as a general purpose clock generator.

The SI5351A-B05512-GTR is able to generate a wide range of clock frequencies from a single source. The PLL is programmable to allow the generation of a wide variety of clock frequencies from single-ended clock sources. This makes the device ideal for applications where dual-rate frequency signals are required. The low-noise VCOs provide excellent performance across a wide range of frequencies, including high-speed ringing frequencies.

The SI5351A-B05512-GTR also includes a frequency synthesizer circuit, allowing the user to generate a wide range of output frequencies from a single input frequency. The frequency synthesizer can be programmed to generate arbitrary output frequencies up to twice the input frequency. This allows the SI5351A-B05512-GTR to be used in a variety of applications, such as television systems and communications systems.
