The SI5351B-B05648-GMR is a clock and timing generator from Silicon Labs. It is a high-performance, low-power, Any-Rate clock generator with integrated VCXO and preprogrammed firmware. It can generate a wide variety of frequency output signals using only a single reference clock, such as clocks for optical transceivers, consumer applications, automation/IoT, peripherals, and industrial/communications.

The SI5351B-B05648-GMR can generate any desired frequency from 1Hz to 200MHz, without requiring additional external components. It features an integrated fractional-N Synthesizer and other advanced features, such as spread spectrum clocking, adjustable pull range and jitter attenuation. It also includes integrated programmable output flexibility such as inversion, output power enable, and power-down modes.

The SI5351B-B05648-GMR also supports a variety of different output frequency and amplitude. Output signals can also be independently configured as individual frequency outputs, multi-synth and even user-defined clock structures, such as mixed frequency and amplitude structures.

The working principle of the SI5351B-B05648-GMR is based on the traditional phase locked loop (PLL) technology.
