Evaluation and Demonstration Boards and Kits
The SI5374-EVB Evaluation Board is an easy and cost-effective way to use Silicon Laboratories\' 4th-Generation, Any-Frequency PLLs and clock generators to create a high-performance system. It is designed to provide a comprehensive demonstration of the features available in the SI5374 Any-Frequency Programmable PLL. The SI5374 EVB consists of two compatible cards which make up the board. The first card is the PLL Board, which contains the silicon-based SI5374 Any-Frequency Programmable PLL, and the second card is the Generic Evaluation Base Board, which functions as an intermediate board that provides the user with access to various configurable signals. The board also supports a large number of plug-in daughter cards to facilitate quick design prototyping.
The SI5374-EVB evaluation board is designed for the evaluation of the SI5374 Any-Frequency Programmable PLL. It is an ideal choice for use in different applications such as automotive, communications, IT and consumer electronics. The tool is equipped to provide various functions such as input frequency selection, phase-lock loop operation and margin testing.
The EVB generator board operates in both clock and measurement operation modes. In clock mode, the board outputs various different clocks from the on-board oscillators. The SI5374-EVB system utilizes a clock-generation technique called frequency synthesis.
