SI88620BC-ISR is a digital isolator from Silicon Labs, part of their ISO8862 family which offers digital isolation with crosstalk immunity. The light-sensitive resistor on the other side is then activated, and the connection is made.The SI88620BC-ISR offers isolation in both directions, making it perfect for bi-directional data transmission. The device has a maximum data rate of 12 Mbps and a standard propagation delay of 10µs. This isolator also features split-rail electrostatic discharge protection, protecting the wiring and connectors from faults.
