The SIM3C1XX-B-DK evaluation board is a versatile embedded tool for developers to explore and evaluate the capabilities of the SIM3C1XX series of System-in-Package (SiP) devices. Developed by the designers of the SIM3C1XX series, the SIM3C1XX-B-DK evaluation board allows the user to quickly and easily evaluate and verify the performance of the SIM3C1XX in a wide range of embedded applications. The development platform is designed to support a wide variety of operating systems, from popular real-time operating systems to Linux and other embedded real-time operating systems (RTOS).

The SIM3C1XX-B-DK evaluation board is based on the SIM3C1XX series System-in-Package (SiP). The SiP consists of an ARM Cortex-M3 core, a subsystem dedicated to programmable peripherals and memory, and a 32-bit clocked microcontroller. The SIM3C1XX-B-DK evaluation board packages the SIM3C1XX SiP with a host of features on a compact form factor. The eval-board features include a 4 port USB 2.0 hub, a 24-bit digital-to-analog converter (DAC), dualCAN CAN transceivers, embedded Ethernet capability, real-time clock/calendar (RTC) and advanced low-power support. In addition, the evaluation board has I2C interface, SPI interface and several LEDs and push buttons for user inputs.

The SIM3C1XX-B-DK Evaluation board provides an easy and powerful way to evaluate the capabilities of the SIM3C1XX SiP. The evaluation board includes a full range of peripherals and interfaces which support the development of a variety of embedded applications and applications using popular real-time operating systems and Linux. The SIM3C1XX-B-DK evaluation board is designed to be used in a wide range of applications utilizing the SIM3C1XX\'s high level of embedded computing power. Its applications include motor control, sensor network for industrial and consumer markets, video capture, automotive applications, and data acquisition and control applications. The evaluation board also supports Linux, which is particularly useful for developing GUI applications and embedded webservers.
