Working principle of SIP2802DY-T1-E3
SIP2802DY-T1-E3 uses a single inductor flyback converter topology, which can be used to generate an isolated output voltage from a non-isolated input voltage. The single inductor flyback converter is divided into two parts. The first part is the primary side, which consists of an input rectifier, a primary switch, an auxiliary winding flyback inductor, an auxiliary diode and an output capacitor. The second part is the secondary side, which consists of an output rectifier, an auxiliary winding flyback inductor, an output diode, an output capacitor and an output switch.The basic principle of the single inductor flyback converter is the same as any other converter. During the flyback period, the energy stored in the flyback inductor is transferred to the output capacitor. During the on period, the primary switch is turned on, which allows current to flow from the input voltage to the flyback inductor.When the switch is turned off, the auxiliary diode is forward biased, which allows the energy stored in the flyback inductor to be transferred to the output capacitor. The output diode is used to prevent the energy stored in the output capacitor from flowing back to the input voltage.
The SIP2802DY-T1-E3 provides a range of features to make the converter suitable for a variety of applications. These features include an adjustable power good delay, a soft start voltage control, a programmable current limit and an adjustable output voltage.
