Interface – Analog Switches, Multiplexers, Demultiplexers
The SJM300BIC01 (the “IC”) is an analog switch, multiplexer, and demultiplexer designed for use in a variety of applications.
The IC contains two high-speed differential analog switches, with the switching controlled by a single control voltage applied to the switch enable pin. The switch enable pin can be driven with a TTL or CMOS logic signal, or a bi-level command switch. In addition, the IC has an integrated low pass filter with a cutoff frequency of 100kHz to reduce spurious switching transients.
The IC can be used as either a single-pole single-throw (SPST), single-pole double-throw (SPDT), or as a dual-pole double-throw (DPDT) switch. As an SPST switch, the IC can be used to provide a galvanic isolation between two circuits, while as a SPDT switch, the IC can be used to switch a signal between two different circuits. As a DPDT switch, the IC can be used to switch a signal between four different circuits.
The IC also contains two high-speed differential multiplexers and demultiplexers. Each multiplexer/demultiplexer circuit is capable of multiplexing and demultiplexing up to eight analog signals. The multiplexers/demultiplexers are controlled by a single command switch, which is driven by a TTL or CMOS logic signal, or a bi-level command switch. The multiplexers/demultiplexers are used to switch between different analog signals, or to switch between sets of digital signals.
The IC also contains a high-speed differential analog-to-digital converter. The analog-to-digital converter can be used to convert an analog signal into a digital signal.
