The SJM304BIC01 is a part of a family of analog switches, multiplexers, and demultiplexers specifically designed and optimized to meet the requirements of high-speed, high bandwidth Analog and mixed signal applications. Use of several technologies such as CMOS transistor switching, film-gated transistor switching, and low-on-resistance diode switching has given this device wide application potential. The SJM304BIC01 is a special type of analog switch, multiplexer and demultiplexer designed for signal switching applications.The SJM304BIC01 analog switch provides signal switching between five signal buses, with each terminal having a separate circuit path from the signal source, such as a differential line, to all other signal buses. This device, with its multiplexer function, can be used for signal routing, signal mixing, signal expansion, and signal conditioning.The SJM304BIC01 has two control circuits. One is a power control circuit with an input/output control voltage range from -2.5 to -20V when leaded, or from -2.5 to -50V when un-leaded. The other control circuit is an digital control circuit with TTL logic levels on a two-bit option (A0 and A1), which can be used to select any of the five digital lines to the switch matrix.The SJM304BIC01 has a low power consumption, a fast switching speed and selectable low pass filtering function. The device also features low-on resistance transistors to minimize current dissipation and voltage drop.The SJM304BIC01 supports both single-ended and differential signaling of up to 400MHz while providing excellent signal integrity. This is enabled by its low on-resistance transistors, which minimize current dissipation and voltage drop, and low switching speed, which ensures that no signal distortion is introduced by the switch itself. The low pass filter function of the device enables the device to filter out high frequency noise and eliminate any issues caused by interference of multiple video signals on the same line.In applications where multiplexing is used, the SJM304BIC01 provides a low power, cost effective solution.
