SL28PCIE25ALC is a clock generator, phase-locked loop (PLL) and frequency synthesizer that can be used in a variety of applications, including telecommunication systems, industrial, automotive, and consumer electronics. This product is designed to work with different clocks and frequencies to generate a high-resolution output clock signal. The SL28PCIE25ALC is a versatile and cost-effective solution for many clock generation, synchronization and timing applications.The SL28PCIE25ALC is a single, programmable high-speed clock generator with a wide range of clock output frequency ranges from 1 kHz to 270 MHz. The frequency is programmable using the onboard configuration controls. The SL28PCIE25ALC also features an adjustable clock enable/disable output, a low-jitter clock output, and an optional output enable for synchronization during clock startup or shutdown.The SL28PCIE25ALC is a monolithic CMOS PLL and frequency synthesizer. It is based on an architecture that facilitates a high accuracy, low jitter, and programmable output clock. The PLL and frequency synthesizer have low-current consumption, fast lock time and low reference clock jitter requirements. The reference clock is provided by the onboard clock source, and the output clock is generated from the PLL/frequency synthesizer. To reduce jitter, the SL28PCIE25ALC employs a Phase-Locked Loop to synchronize the output clock to the reference clock.The PLL of the SL28PCIE25ALC provides programmable output frequencies, enabling the design of multiple system clocks and clock frequency sources. The PLL also allows for flexible output divider settings, allowing designers to tailor the output frequency to the exact requirements of the system. Additionally, the SL28PCIE25ALC includes an optional output enable/disable that can be used to reduce power consumption or to synchronize the outputs during startup or shutdown. The frequency synthesizer of the SL28PCIE25ALC allows for a wide range of programmable output frequencies and supports fractional-N synthesis. By careful design of the fractional-N synthesis settings, designers can produce output frequencies with high resolution, low jitter, and low reference clock jitter requirements for superior performance in high-performance, low-jitter systems.
