SMF8.0AHRVG is a TVS- Diode, which provides an efficient protective capabilities and low leakage current. The device is available in a variety of packages including SOT-323 and SMF8.0AHRVG. It is a bidirectional diode with an absolute rating of 8.0V.The SMF8.0AHRVG device offers a low-cost protective option against transients caused by electrostatic discharge (ESD), electrical fast transient (EFT) and power inductive switching (PIS). It is designed to protect sensitive electronics without any performance degradation. The SMF8.0AHRVG has an exceptionally low turn-on voltage (Vf) of approximately 4.0V, and a low and stable leakage current, allowing it to offer extremely reliable protection.The SMF8.0AHRVG provides superior clamping of high-speed transient pulses. The device has a wide operating temperature range from -55 to +150°C, making it suitable for a variety of automotive, industrial, and consumer applications. It also features a very low capacitance (<0.5 pF) for better signal transmission. The SMF8.0AHRVG uses a Schottky trickle emitter which helps ensure reliable operation and reduced voltage clamping. It has a very high pulse current rating of 4.0A, making it durable and reliable in most applications. The fast rise time of 5.2ns and a low operating power makes it an ideal solution for ESD, EFT, and PIS protection. The SMF8.0AHRVG application fields typically consist of all the digital logic and high-speed data communication applications.
