The SN74LV4066APWT is a 16-channel analog/digital multiplexer/demultiplexer with low-voltage CMOS logic. It is a 4-bit multiplexer/demultiplexer that is designed for use in analog and digital applications where multiple signals must be connected and disconnected in a short amount of time. This device provides a range of analog switching applications from power-on-reset, control data, and voltage/current source switching to DC and AC signal multiplexing. The SN74LV4066APWT is part of the 4066 family of analog switches and multiplexers. The SN74LV4066APWT works by connecting one of the sixteen channels to the output based on the signals of the select lines. The sixteen channels are connected to sixteen SEL lines and the enable line, EN. When the enable line is activated, the SEL lines are used to select which of the sixteen channels is connected to the output. When the enable line is deactivated, the SEL lines are no longer used and the output is disconnected from all channels.
