The SN75176AD is a TTL-level differential bus transceiver, which works to provide differential bus line-driving, line-receiving, and procotol conversion functions. This integrated circuit helps to improve the transmission of signals in systems with high noise environment to ensure the accurate transmission of data. The SN75176AD differential bus transceiver works on the pretreatment of data before their transmission over the bus. This includes the amplifier and the comparator circuits which receive the input signals and prepare them for transmission. After transmitting, the differential bus receiver circuit then converts the balanced or differential data back into digital form so that they can be read by the receiving circuit/device.
