The SN75LBC175D is also made operational as a receiver in order to receive differential signals over a specified cable length. It has two integrated differential receivers on board which are capable of detecting input signals and converting them into TTL/CMOS compatible output levels. Output signals are clamped by diode protection circuitry. When the "EN" pin is in logic high state (VDD), receivers become active and begin to detect input signals. Then, a logic high state is present at the "RDY" pin when both inputs are within their common-mode voltage range, indicating that valid data has been received.
