Output signals are clamped by diode protection circuitry. When the "EN" pin is in logic high state (VDD), receivers become active and begin to detect input signals. Then, a logic high state is present at the "RDY" pin when both inputs are within their common-mode voltage range, indicating that valid data has been received.
