Interface - Drivers, Receivers,Transceivers have been a critical and important part of any circuitry for many years. Though technology has grown more advanced, and more effective solutions found, the basic principles of how these components interact, and how they are used, is the same.
The SN75ALS160N is a 10-bit, high-speed BTL-compatible line receiver. It is designed to interface data and control signals between 5V compatible microprocessors and other 5V logic families. Its output stages can be wired to directly drive a optocoupler, BTL buffer, or similar buffers.
