SN75C3223EDBR is a two-way low-power bus transceiver with low-voltage differential signaling (LVDS). It is designed to operate in systems using 3V to 3.6V power supplies. It is designed to achieve the highest speed and optimal signal integrity on the industry\'s smallest system-level buses. The transceiver is designed to help reduce EMI/RFI in systems by eliminating power and ground returns and offering superior skew compensation.This transceiver is suitable for applications that require signal integrity and EMI/RFI protection. For example, it is commonly used in communication interface cards to connect to other devices such as onboard signal processors, embedded controllers, external memory, or peripheral bus interfaces.The SN75C3223EDBR is a single-ended to differential driver/receiver that converts a single logic ground-referenced signal (3bps) into differential signal pair (6bps). It supports wide range of signal levels from LVTTL/CMOS up to 3.3 Volts, and has an output signal level of 400mV peak-to-peak.The device has four input and four output channels, each of which supports different protocols like LVDS (Low Voltage Differential Signaling), LVDT (Least transfer Differential Signaling) and Bus LVDS (Bus-powered). It has a low-power supply voltage operating range of 3.3 to 3.6 volts and a low-power standby mode with current consumption of less than 0.5mA. Its high speed and low power consumption make it suitable for applications where power savings and small size are important such as laptops.The SN75C3223EDBR is also a Digital-to-Analog Converter (DAC) and operates at higher speeds than traditional Logic-to-Analog Converters (LAC). It has an adjustable resolution of 8 to 12 bits to provide higher resolution and uniform D/A performance. Furthermore, it has a built-in programmable gain amplifier for adjusting the output voltage level.The SN75C3223EDBR is manufactured in lead-free and RoHS compliant, dual-in-line packages. It is available in two configurations: a 64-lead LQFP, and a 64-lead QFN.
