These signals, which travel in opposite directions, interact and cancel out noise along the way; this makes them more reliable than single-endedsignals, and also allows the system to cover much larger distances than it otherwise would. To ensure that the SN75LP1185DBR stays compliant with variousapplications, it supports both standard and low power modes. It also boasts an increased operating temperature range of -40℃ to +85℃ and maximum receiverdata rates of up to 120M bits/sec.The SN75LP1185DBR features a pair of half-duplex transceivers with two enable inputs, two use enable signals to enable the receiver or transmitter functions.The driver input is a 3.3V CMOS logic compatible receiver input with a 30nS input filter, and the output is a differential output with a configurable low orhigh voltage output. The output voltage is 85% of the supply voltage and the output current is adjustable up to 50mA. The receiver has both normal and hysteresispower up characteristics.
