The SP3074EMN-L interface family of devices, manufactured by the company Sunplus Technology, is designed for a variety of applications and functions as drivers, receivers, and transceivers. It offers a wide range of integrated features to meet the requirements of today’s high-speed communication needs. The SP3074EMN-L family includes dual-channel and quad-channel high-speed transmit/receive digital interface transceivers, as well as dual-channel high-speed receive digital interface receivers. This flexibility enables the user to select the optimal speed mode for their specific application.

The devices also offer five levels of frequency select (2.5, 5.0, 10.0, 20.0, and 50.0 MHz) that are selectable by the user. The selected frequency is then divided down internally to generate the desired output frequency, allowing the user to select a frequency range that is appropriate for their application. The output frequency can range from 1 to 10 MHz.

The SP3074EMN-L family of devices offers four main levels of operation. The Transmit Mode enables the input signal to be sent out over the data bus. The Receive Mode allows for reception of the input signal from the data bus. The Twiddle Mode is used for data scrambling, necessary for certain codes, such as Manchester and 8B/10B. Finally, the Split Mode is used for demultiplexing of serial data streams.

The devices are highly integrated, with a single power supply design and power management circuits included. These features help to reduce component count, as well as reduce power consumption, making the device ideal for embedded applications.
