TVS - Diodes

The SP3031-01ETG is a unidirectional Transient Voltage Suppressor (TVS) diode. Working principle

The working principle of the SP3031-01ETG is based on the principle of PN-junction diode. The junction is heavily doped in order to achieve low voltage breakdown; the higher doping levels also provide low leakage current.
