The driver is designed to supply the necessary power to the four independent I/O channels (I/O0~I/O3). The driver is powered by the four power rails VDD –VDD being the negative rails, VDDS and VDDM being the positive rails, and VCCMS being the return path for the signals. The four channels are independently adjustable via a POT terminal. Each channel can produce four levels of output current ranging from 0.5A~ 7.5A.The receiver section of the SP488CT-L/TR can detect the received digital signals and convert them into the corresponding digital logic levels.
