PMIC - Supervisors are devices specifically designed to ensure the reliable operation of electronic systems in the event of power supply irregularities. SP690TEN-L/TR\'s unique features include its two level minimum-low-voltage detect options. The first option is a fixed threshold at 2.0V, which ensures that minimal start-up voltage is met for safe system operation. It also includes a variable 0.23-2.0V range, perfect for systems that require precise start-up voltages. This adjustable low detection threshold can be used in combination with settings from 2.0-5.5V to optimize hardware performance while still providing protection against out-of-tolerance conditions.
SP690TEN-L/TR\'s watchdog timer has an adjustable interval of 2.5 ms to 7.5 s, capable of providing totally configurable system reset timing. It also offers better accuracy than the previous version, accommodating shorter interval watchdog reset requirements, while still providing the same 2.5 ms to 7.5 s range. Additionally, the reset time is now able to be adjusted independently of the external LVC reset time.
