TVS - Diodes

TVS-diodes (TVS or transient voltage suppressors) are semiconductor protection devices designed to protect electronic circuits from transient unwanted voltage changes- either positive or negative. This type of device clamps and limits the transient voltages within predefined safe values, thus providing both an electrical and a thermal protection to the sensitive circuits.
