Diodes are components that allow electrical current to flow in one direction only. Rectifiers are components that convert alternating current (AC) to direct current (DC). Single rectifiers, such as the SRT15 R0G, are a type of rectifier consisting of a single diode, usually an N-type semi-conductor, in a bridge configuration.
