SSL22HM4G application field and working principle
The SSL22HM4G is a single-phase ultrafast recovery output rectifier, using an advanced oxide high-voltage process to achieve high-speed switching and reduce weight, so that the device is suitable for any applications which require the highest levels of efficiency, performance and protection. The device is designed to handle up to 22-amperes of current and is available in various packages.
Its typical application field includes switch mode power supplies,free-wheeling, converter, bridges and other high-frequency switches. And its working principle is that when the forward voltage, VF, is applied to the rectifier, the flow of current starts. When the forward voltage, VF, is removed, the reverse current is cut off, and current will flow to the opposite direction.
The SSL22HM4G rectifier also has low power consumption and a high slew rate to further reduce power dissipation. It also has a wide temperature range and a low voltage drop, both of which help in the efficiency and reliability of the device. Additionally, the device comes with an overvoltage protection function and a reverse current protection function to protect the connected equipment from overvoltage and leakage currents.
