It uses a step-down topology to convert input power to output power and is protected from over-voltage, over-current and under-voltage conditions by the use of control loops and high-accuracy reference voltage sources.The Dual-Channel Buck/Buck-Regulated Regulator provides “tracking” to the Single High-Side Buck Regulator to ensure that the output voltage is tolerant up to the maximum load current and is within the specified accuracy. The Buck-Regulated Regulator uses a “de-rating” mechanism to manage any increases in output voltage accuracy due to changes in load or temperature.The device is designed to be integrated into existing systems, but can also be used as a standalone regulator. The STOD02PUR has up to 6 analog inputs and 3 PWM outputs, which can be configured independently for mapping and control.
