STOD1317BTPUR voltage regulator is a special purpose IC manufactured by Bosch and it has its own application field and working principle.The STOD1317BTPUR is a switched-mode DC-DC converter with an integrated power stage, offering high switching frequency up to 500 kHz with a minimum sleep current consumption of 260 μA. In this configuration, the low side MOSFET is always active, delivering the load current to the output.The over current protection protection feature of the STOD1317BTPUR is provided by an internal 500 mA, current-sense comparator. This comparator senses the voltage drop on the low side MOSFET, when the load current exceeds the current limit, the comparator trips, disabling the high side MOSFET, removing the power path from the system and allowing the device to remain disabled until the user toggles the EN (enable) input.Overall, the STOD1317BTPUR voltage regulator is a special purpose device manufactured by Bosch that provides an efficient power conversion with high switching frequencies up to 500 kHz.
