As for its working principle,A basic aluminum electrolytic capacitor consists of two aluminum foils which serve as the capacitors plates and an electrolyte. When voltage is applied, the electrolyte flows to the anode foil, forming a thin, uniform, monomolecular oxide layer. This oxide layer acts as an insulation between the plates and increases the surface area of the anode plate. As a result, the capacitance of the aluminum electrolytic capacitor increases.

Unlike general-purpose capacitor types, the characteristics of aluminum electrolytic capacitors are much more stable. SXR470M063ST aluminum electrolytic capacitors have very little capacitance change when exposed to high temperatures, which makes them suitable for high temperature applications. Furthermore, when the applied voltage to the capacitor is increased, this aluminum capacitor will exhibit a slight increase in capacitance.
