The SY87701LHI-EVAL evaluation board from Dialog Semiconductor is a versatile platform used to evaluate Dialog\'s latest GreenPAK ICs. This evaluation platform allows engineers to quickly and easily design, evaluate, and debug GreenPAK designs. It provides the necessary materials to evaluate just about any design. The board consists of an open USB port, which allows communication between the board and a host PC running Microsoft Windows. The onboard displays and LEDs allow the user to visualise the operation of the logic circuits.

The SY87701LHI-EVAL board includes two sets of DIP switches, allowing two distinct operations to be achieved. The first set of DIP switches turns the board into an evaluation mode, which allows the connected GreenPAK IC to act as a standalone device for testing small logic circuits. Using the first set of DIP switches, the user can control outputs from the GreenPAK IC to test a logic circuit, as well as monitor the inputs from the logic circuit in real time. The second set of DIP switches allows the user to turn the board into a design mode, where all the available inputs and outputs from the GreenPAK IC are made available for circuit design.

The SY87701LHI-EVAL is also compatible with third-party software and hardware. The board can be connected to a variety of circuit design tools, such as Altium Designer, to design a logic circuit or set of logic circuits using the GreenPAK IC. The board can also be connected to external hardware such as an oscilloscope or logic analyzer to monitor signals from a logic circuit. The board also comes with a variety of peripheral devices, such as switches, LEDs, and other components, to test and design a circuit or system.

In addition to providing a platform for evaluation and design, the SY87701LHI-EVAL board can also be used to demo GreenPAK ICs. The demo mode allows the user to quickly and easily demonstrate the logic behaviour of the GreenPAK IC.
