SZESD7481MUT5G is a 5,000 Watt, bidirectional, unidirectional transient voltage suppressor diode (TVS-Diode) for ultra low capacitance, ESD suppression applications. It is designed to protect delicate circuit elements, like high-speed logic and data lines, against ESD (electrostatic discharge) surges up to 30kV with a low capacitance of just 7.5pF. The TVS-Diode is designed to protect ultra-high-speed digital interfaces, including USB, Thunderbolt, HDMI and SATA, as well as other sensitive digital ICs.
The SZESD7481MUT5G is a low-capacitance TVS-Diode that has a fast response time of less than 50p, with an ultra-low clamping voltage of typically only 17V. This TVS-Diode provides excellent ESD protection, with a surge withstand capability of up to 30kV of air or contact discharge. With an operating temperature range of -55 °C to +125 °C, it is suitable for a variety of high-speed digital applications.
The SZESD7481MUT5G utilizes ESD protection diodes to protect ultra-high-speed data lines and digital circuits from ESD related damage. The built-in ESD protection diodes absorb ESD current, providing overshoot and undershoot protection on the data lines. The suppression diode technology used in this TVS-Diode combines a clamping element and a series resistor to protect sensitive circuit elements by reducing transient voltages. This prevents the damage caused by overvoltage spikes during ESD transient events.
