The T2080RDB-PC is a powerful evaluation board used in a range of embedded applications. It combines a NXP T2080 Quad-Core Power Architecture® MPU SoC with an integrated Power Architecture® based real-time debug unit and an MCU subsystem based on a NXP ColdFire V4 core. With its comprehensive integrated peripherals and excellent performance, the T2080RDB-PC is ideal for the development of a variety of embedded applications, including industrial automation, medical, mechatronic, robotics, and automotive.
The T2080RDB-PC evaluation board combines leading-edge technologies and features most needed by designers. Its main features include up to 1.5 GHz quad-core Power Architecture® MPU, two real-time debug units, two cores based on the e200z440 Microchip ColdFire V4 microcontroller architecture, and 256 MB DDR2 SDRAM. In addition, the board includes an on-board NAND flash disk with up to 16GB storage capacity, SD/MMC slot, USB 2.0 OTG, Ethernet, VGA/LCD, 10/100/1000 Mbps Ethernet, CAN 2.0B, USB-HID and on-board JTAG connections. The board also supports multiple operating systems such as Linux distributions (e.g. Yocto Project), as well as VxWorks.
