The TCA6416ZQSR is suitable for a variety of environment, such as consumer, industrial, automotive and medical applications. Features of the TCA6416ZQSR

The TCA6416ZQSR features an integrated 16-bit I/O port which can be programmed to perform a variety of digital functions. The device is powered with 1.8V to 5.5V. Its I/O line toggling rate is 1MHz. It has an integrated driver for low-power I²C-compatible Serial Bus Interface and supports 2 wire mode or 3 wire mode. A built-in register bank allows one to configure the TCA6416ZQSR. The device supports up to 7.0MHz operating frequency in fast-mode and can perform auto-incrementing address pointer functions.The TCA6416ZQSR is resistant to short-circuits and has short-circuit current limiting. It is available in several packages including the SIP-14, the SSOP-14 and the QFN-14 packages.

Working principle of the TCA6416ZQSR

The TCA6416ZQSR operates on two principles: the two-wire I²C-compatible Serial Bus Interface and the register bank for configuration.The two-wire I²C-compatible Serial Bus Interface consists of a clock line (SCL) and a data line (SDA).
