Optoisolators, also known as opto-couplers or opto-isolators, are used for galvanic isolation of digital or analog signals in applications that require data security. It features an extremely wide operating temperature range between -55°C and +125°C, and a low maximum turn-on time of 200 ns. The family of optoisolators come in a small 6-pin Surface- mount Device (SMD), which makes these devices particularly suitable for space-stressed applications.
The main application fields for the TCLT1103 optoisolator are motor control, programmable logic circuit, computer peripheral interface, signal transmission and digital signal processing. The TCLT1103 allows electrical signals to interact with a peripheral device without interfering or corrupting the output signal.
