The TEF6621T/V1T, 518 is a low-IF radio frequency (RF) receiver chip which integrates two radio frequency (RF) receiver channels in a single package. It supports a minimum of two frequency steps per channel, offering a programmable frequency range of 32 MHz to 518 MHz. It offers a high level of integration with two demodulation, filtering and detection blocks, and a wideband low-noise amplifier (LNA). The chip also includes an impedance matcher, a programmable gain amplifier and a low-voltage crystal oscillator (LXO).The device provides various additional features, such as a low-power stand-by mode, a power-on reset, a low-power VCO, a current monitor, and a watchdog timer. It also supports a large selection of modulation formats, including FM, FSK, and PSK. Furthermore, the device provides a wide range of programmable gain control settings.Application Field

The TEF6621T/V1T, 518 RF receiver chip operates by first amplifying the received signal using the low-noise amplifier (LNA) and then filtering the signal. The detection block uses a combination of frequency demodulation, phase demodulation and level detection to identify the signal.
