Working Principle of TLP185(GR-TPR,E)

TLP185(GR-TPR,E) is an optoisolator based on the principle of photovoltaic output. It consists of an infrared LED light on one side and a photovoltaic diode on the other side, forming an optical coupling combination. The infrared LED emits infrated light which serves as the input signals. The infrared light penetrates the cover of the diode to reach the surface of the photovoltaic diode, exciting its electrons to make electrons absorb energy from the infrared light, forming an electron-hole pair. The photovoltaic diode then forms a small voltage at the output end.
