The TLV2460AIDR is a twin-channel CMOS operational amplifier (Op-Amp). It is designed to provide high audio performance in consumer and professional applications. It is suitable for both single-supply and low-voltage dual-supply configurations, offering higher current drive, higher output voltage swing, and better common-mode rejection (CMRR) at high frequencies than traditional LME49720, LME49710, LM118/218/318 series, and other state-of-the-art amplifiers. The TLV2460AIDR, combined with the TLV2450CIDR voltage reference, is an excellent general purpose, low noise, low power solution for audio applications.
The TLV2460AIDR is designed for use in a variety of audio amplification applications, including audio mixers and speaker amplifiers. It can also be used in instrumentation applications, such as transducer and sensor amplifiers. Furthermore, the amplifier can be used to drive displays, such as LED and LCD backlighting.
The TLV2460AIDR is designed for both single and dual supplies and can operate from a single 2.5V to 12V supply, or from a dual 4.5V to 12V supply. The gain is adjustable from 10V/V to 27V/V by varying the feedback resistors. The input common-mode voltage range includes the negative power supply, making this amplifier a good choice for applications where the input voltage may swing negative.
The TLV2460AIDR has an internal oscillation frequency (ISM) of 300MHz and a 3-dB bandwidth of 1MHz. The slew rate is >2V/(s•µs). The output drive current is up to 40mA and the op-amp is capable of driving +/-15V into 600Ω loads. These features make the TLV2460AIDR ideal for driving low impedance loads.
The TLV2460AIDR has excellent power supply rejection and low noise characteristics. It has a maximum total harmonic distortion (THD) of 0.02%. The input-referred noise voltage is 2.5µVrms and the input-referred noise current is 50pA. The amplifier has a wide power-supply rejection ratio of 100dB and a low output offset voltage of ±2mV.
The TLV2460AIDR is a two-channel CMOS Op-Amp with excellent audio performance. It is suitable for single-supply and low-voltage dual-supply configurations. The amplifier offers excellent common-mode rejection, high drive current, frequency response, high slew rate, low noise and distortion, and wide power supply rejection.
