TLV2543CDWR is an Analog to Digital Converters (ADC), which provides high-resolution conversion of analog signals into digital form. This chip is capable of selecting different input ranges and can provide data rates up to 750 ksps. The device features 10-bit resolution, 4- to 5-volt input range, -40°C to +85°C wide operation temperature, high speed conversion rate and low power consumption.The TLV2543CDWR is a combination of a three-bit converter, a 4-bit converter, and a 4-bit analog-to-digital (A/D) converter. The four-bit converter consists of a 10-bit two\'s complement DAC, a nine-bit CMOS analog comparator and a four-bit analog switch. This operates with a logic state of either high or low, depending upon whether the input is greater than or less than the comparison value.The three-bit converter is an analog, non-linear, function generator. It produces a saw-tooth waveform with a rising slope when the input is greater than the comparison value, and a decreasing slope when the input is less than the comparison value. The A/D converter is a multiplexer that is programmed to select one of four input channels by a control signal.The application fields for the TLV2543CDWR are varied and can include automotive, industrial, medical, and consumer electronics.
