TLV320AIC3007EVM-K Evaluation and Demonstration Boards and Kits

The TLV320AIC3007EVM-K is an evaluation and demonstration kit that is used to evaluate the performance of the new TLV320AIC3007 audio codec IC. The TLV320AIC3007EVM-K is powered by either a 3.3v or a 5v dc power supply and consists of an evaluation board, serial control board, audio Multiplexer board, audio codec board, audio feedback board, power supply, and a Windows-based GUI.The evaluation board is made up of components such as connectors, switches, jumpers and test points that provide the access to power and audio signals. It also provides the connections to the serial control board, audio Multiplexer board, audio codec board and the audio feedback board. The evaluation board also provides the development environment for the user to evaluate and design the application. The serial control board provides the access to the various features of the TLV320AIC3007 and also provides the power to the other boards in the kit. It consists of a micro-controller, USB interface, and switches. The serial control board reads and writes the control registers of the codec IC and provides control over the Gain, Sample Rate, Related to Gain & Sample Rate, Volume Control, Channel Mute, Category Selection, Gain Level, System Mode, registers.
