TLV320AIC3263EVM-U Evaluation and Demonstration Board is a universal evaluation and demonstration board for the TLV320AIC3263EVM-U, an integrated 8-bit, low-power, stereo audio CODEC with selectable analog and digital I/Os. It features a host-accessible control and configuration register interface along with multiple serial ports. This board is designed to provide support for evaluation, prototyping, and system design purposes.This evaluation board supports the evaluation of the TLV320AIC3263EVM-U audio CODEC with different configurations, such as the serial port host interface, the multiple I/O configuration options, and the output power amplifier settings. It is designed to evaluate the TLV320AIC3263EVM-U\'s features and is ideal for designing applications where performance, flexibility, power, and low-power consumption are key factors.The TLV320AIC3263EVM-U is equipped with selectable audio I/Os such as analog line, digital S/PDIF optical input, digital S/PDIF output, and stereo headphone I/O jacks. In addition, it also has two microphones onboard and a two-channel PGA (programmable gain amplifier) with independent gain settings. It is powered by a rechargeable, built-in lithium-ion battery. The board also has several status LEDs and a simple navigation knob to control the codec settings.The board features an evaluation and demonstration software called AIC3263EVM-U_U. This software applications support playback/recording of audio signals in AIFF (Apple Intermediate Format) and WAV (Windows Waveform Audio) formats. It allows users to control input/output gain, ADC/DAC sampling setting, and the direction of audio signals. It also offers an intuitive graphical interface to create equalizer curves and provides support for real-time and automated with customized test sequences.The TLV320AIC3263EVM-U also provides an embedded debug interface to allow a host PC to access the serial bus registers. This makes it easy to read/modify the data inside the CODEC.
