TVS - Diodes

A transient voltage suppressor (TVS) or transient voltage suppressor diode is a device designed to protect circuit components from voltage spikes or high energy transients. TVS diodes offer a higher level of protection than other traditional surge-protective solutions such as gas discharge tubes (GDTs) and varistors. Working Principle
