The latch mode will start switching if only one of the outputs is active and the other still in its previous logic state.The TPS2814DR also includes an integrated short-circuit protection and one open drain output to indicate the pre-charge phase of a power converter. After the pre-charge phase is complete, the fault signal turns off, allowing the power converter to continue to normally operate. This fault signal can also be used to reset the controller if the device is programmed to launch a power cycle after the fault is detected.In addition, the TPS2814DR provides advanced over-temperature protection and overload protection for secure power supply operation in both voltage and current operational modes.
