This integrated circuit provides low cost and precise monitoring of power supply with adjustable delays and active-high reset signal. The working principle of the TPS3305-33DR are simple and straightforward. The reset signal is then output to the system downstream. This reset signal can also be used to control power up/down sequencing for other components. If the device is used for power sequencing, the RD3 and RD2 pins must be asserted together in order to start the delay and then reset the power rails.

The TPS3305-33DR also features two independent watchdogs which are used to trigger a reset signal when voltage levels exceed the specified thresholds. This watchdog can be set to trip at any time between 4ms and 800ms, depending on the user’s needs. The device further has the capability to assert a manual reset signal which can be used to reset the system under specified conditions.
