The TPS79927DDCR is a PMIC(Power Management IC)-Voltage Regulators-Linear type IC that utilizes a low dropout and a low quiescent current output linear regulator. It provides an adjustable and small footprint power solution with relatively low cost compared to switching regulator designs. Ideally suited for applications like RF(Radio Frequency) transmitters, portable communication and consumer devices, it integrates five key functions:.

Firstly, it provides a convertor module which can be used to generate a 3.3V or a 1.2V low noise output. Secondly, it includes a low quiescent current mode regulator, configured to convert the generated output voltage to a different, adjustable and stable output voltage from 1.8V to 2.6V.
