The TPS799285YZUR is a linear PMIC Voltage Regulator designed by Texas Instruments. This two-terminal voltage regulator is ideal for space-constrained, cost-sensitive, low-noise and low-dropout output voltage and current applications. It operates on an input voltage range of 2 V to 6.5 V and has an output voltage range of 0.6 V to 5.5 V.The TPS799285YZUR is a LDO (Low Drop Out) regulator which is able to provide a regulated output voltage even when the input voltage is close to the output voltage. It has a low quiescent current of just 7µA and features both logic-level enable control and adjustable output voltage control.The TPS799285YZUR can be used in many different applications including automotive, industrial, medical and communications. Some of the applications it is commonly used for include embedded system, low noise sensitive applications, lithium battery drivers and noise sensitive analog circuits.The TPS799285YZUR is a single-channel LDO voltage regulator. It contains an internal voltage reference that can be used to set the output voltage of the regulator. It features an adjustable output voltage that can be set to between 0.6 V to 5.5 V with a digital potentiometer. It also has a logic-level enable pin which allows the regulator to be enabled or disabled via a logic signal. In addition, the device has an accurate current limit which can be set by selecting the appropriate resistor.The TPS799285YZUR is also highly efficient.
