It contains the necessary components for switching, such as an oscillator, internal isolation switches, an error amplifier and voltage reference.The TPS7A0533PDQNR uses inherently stable buck-boost switching architecture in order to maintain a constant load current with varying load voltages. The TPS7A0533PDQNR works by continuously comparing the output voltage against an internal reference voltage and providing a control signal to the switch depending on the difference. In this way, the output voltage is kept regulated.The TPS7A0533PDQNR also features two inflection points at which the transition from buck to boost operation is made. A voltage detection circuit is used to detect when the input voltage is below or above the inflection points and automatically switches between buck and boost operation accordingly. This ensures that the output voltage is always precisely regulated.In addition to its excellent output voltage regulation, the TPS7A0533PDQNR also boasts extremely low quiescent current, making it suitable for battery-operated applications. When the voltage regulator is in shutdown mode, the quiescent current drops to 200 nA, ensuring that battery life is extended.
