Working principle of TS831-3IDT voltage supervisor:

The reference voltage is compared against the input supply voltage. Whenever the input supply voltage falls out of the set range detection window, the comparator will detect it and actuate an appropriate action. Depending on the application, the actions are configured to reset, power off the system, alert users or take other actions.
