Working principle of TS831-3IDT voltage supervisor:
The TS831-3IDT voltage supervisor IC is a three-channel, low dropout, CMOS voltage supervisor which use a built-in comparator to compare voltage level between an adjustable reference voltage at the other end. The reference voltage is compared against the input supply voltage. Whenever the input supply voltage falls out of the set range detection window, the comparator will detect it and actuate an appropriate action. Depending on the application, the actions are configured to reset, power off the system, alert users or take other actions.
In addition, TS831-3IDT also has a push-pull output which can be used to protect against brown-out, overvoltage and overcurrent protection. When the input supply voltage is within the set detection window, the push-pull timer will activate, allowing the voltage to be directly applied to the load.The TS831-3IDT voltage supervisor also has temperature protection, watchdog timer and other features, making it a very useful and reliable component for many industrial and consumer applications.
The TS831-3IDT voltage supervisor can be easily configured according to application specific requirements.
