Aluminum Electrolytic Capacitors

An aluminum electrolytic capacitor, or simply an aluminum capacitor, is an electrolytic capacitor that has an anode of aluminum foil that is typically coated with an oxide layer. It uses an aluminum foil as one of the two electrodes and a liquid or gel-like electrolyte as the other electrode.
