Aluminum electrolytic capacitors, also called electrolytic capacitors, are widely used electronic components in many electronic products. They are polarized capacitors with an aluminum foil as the anode, a porous oxide film (mainly anodic oxide film) as the dielectric layer, and a liquid or solid electrolyte as the cathode. As one type of aluminum electrolytic capacitor, TVA1403-E3 is of self-healing property, polarity, small ideal size and large capacitance, widely used in applications such as voltage stabilizing, power filter, phase correction of circuit and frequency modifier.
TVA1403-E3 is an aluminum electrolytic capacitor with an AC capacitance and high inrush current of 2000A. The device features a cylindrical anode composed of electrically conductive aluminum (Al) and a cathode composed of solid electrolyte material. Between them is a porous anodic oxide film insulator. The electrolyte in the cathode is a special material that contains a large amount of liquid. When the capacitor is charged, a potential difference forms between the anode and the cathode, which results in an electric field between the two sides. When a voltage is applied between the anode and the cathode, an electric field is generated and electrons flow from the anode to the cathode.
