Aluminum electrolytic capacitors are divided into tantalum capacitor and electrolytic capacitor according to the material of electrodes, and according to the type of material that filled to the capacitor case, electrolytic capacitors are divided into three categories, including wet type electrolytic capacitor, sealed type electrolytic capacitor and partial sealed type electrolytic capacitor. Working Principle

The working principle of TVAN1705.1 is based on the principle of a sealed type electrolytic capacitor. It consists of a perfectly sealed aluminum capacitor case, in which two electrodes, the anode and the cathode, are inserted, together with a conductive medium of liquid or polymer. The anode is made of aluminum foil and two layers of metal film, while the cathode is made of electrolytic material and connected to a wire terminal that uses low temperature solder for putting the capacitor into the PCB board. The electrodes are separated by the dielectric material, which is a liquid or solid electrolyte and generally includes aluminum oxide. This dielectric material works as a polarizable layer around the electrodes and provides the perfect insulation for the electrical energy to stored inside the electrolytic capacitor case. When AC or DC bias voltage is applied to the capacitor, it will become charged, and will start working as a capacitor. The capacitance of AC depends on the bias voltage and the electrodes area of it. However, the capacitance of DC bias is fixed and determined by the material and geometry of the electrodes. The electric storage capacity is much bigger in TVAN1705.1 compared with other types of capacitors.
